I don't know what MOT is but if you are not going to drive it there I would suggest loading it on a trailer rather than towing it. Just a safer senario.
References :
Why do you need to tow it? If you are hoping it will pass an MOT test just make sure you have it pre-booked at the test centre and drive it. If you do need to tow the vehicle for any reason there is no problem, they have a towing eye -- location depends on year vehicle. Good luck, Gizz.
References :
Each state is different- here in Az. you can get a temp permit to drive it to DMV for inspection and title. The only qualification is insurance. You must show coverage.
References :
Hello

You do know that if you book the MOT you can drive there without one?
If you tow it on the highway it must have an MOT unless you are going to a pre booked MOT
Cars are fitted with a tow eye at the back but only the newer ones get a removable tow eye at the front.
The car being towed has a rope tied normally to the front anti roll bar as this is the lowest point. Or the chassis as this is the strongest.
In the Army we had tow hooks fitted on the front and rear bumpers so we could use ropes or tow bars, but they were solid and welded to extentions of the chassis
