I have 1983 VW T25 crew cab pickup, I bought several months ago but soon found out I could not get Classic insurance as I am a provisional licence holder and i have to have a full licence for two years before I can get classic. I really dont want to part with it but I have to, I need to know what its value is on the market, either to collectors or otherwise. Bodies a bit rusted on the bed, needs new battery but engines fine, new tires, etc. any advice?
there is rust on the edges of the flat bed and will probably have to be replaced, as will the engine cover ( at the moment an alternative is being used). there is also some surface rust in small patches. interior is the sparce and original but clean. She has 445,000 miles on her. She road worthy and running smoothly (1.6 Diesel). I was to use as a work vehicle immediatly if insurance didnt screw things up

keep it dont sell it spend a couple of years tidying it up you will regret selling it not many crew cabs left
